Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor-Electrical WGMSE
Our Client Company is a major industrial manufacturer serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, power generation, and industrial concerns. The annual salary is commensurate with experience; relocation assistance is available.
The Supervisor of Maintenance directs the Maintenance departments to prepare and fulfill repair, construction, and preventive maintenance schedules, which maximize the availability of production equipment and facilities throughout the plant and office areas. He or she supervises the staff, i.e., trains and assigns employees, updates the training database, monitors performance and administers discipline. The Supervisor of Maintenance works to uphold all safety and housekeeping standards required for the facility. This position involves a wide variety of job conditions and off-hour responsibility for plant facilities, which are unique to the Maintenance function.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered)
Bachelors degree and/or technical certification and/or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in Heavy Manufacturing (Steel making, automotive or forging preferred)
PLC, Control, AC/DC drive, Combustion control, high-voltage experience
Experience in maintenance planning and CMMS system (a plus)
Journeyman licensure (preferred)
Thorough technical and mechanical knowledge
Documented continuous improvement
Union shop experience (preferred)
Basic computer skills: data management and analysis; word processing; spreadsheets, email and Internet
